Another contender trying to fill the hole left by Game Of Thrones and honestly it succeeds at it! Is it perfect? No, but to quote a friend of mine and host of his own review channel BLACK GAY COMIC GEEK on YouTube once said the recipe for a great show is simple gore, Sex and magic. This show has that and more. It contains great writing and an amazing cast. As a fan of the game this is based on and a person really distrusting of adaptations, I went into this expecting the absolute worst (I'm looking you death note, dragon ball). I could go on but it honestly hurts me mentally but this is not that. The difference might be the highly improved writing or maybe the writers were actually fans of the source material whatever the reason this was a success and a true Should I watch. Hopefully, the series continues, and the quality continues from pacing to weaving of timeline and growth of deep character development I guess only time will tell.
