Okay ,we can all agree that title is a mouthful, but putting that aside, let's get down to the review. So I had the pleasure of attending an early screening of DC’s latest romp into the superhero genre or should I say heroine. DC and comic book heroes don't have the best relationship these days, from their multiple failed romps into the field such as Suicide squad where the Harley Quinn character in this movie originates, to The Justice League debacle of 2017. Luckily I am glad to say this felt more on the victorious side of things. It was a genuinely fun movie from the great acting from Margot Robbie, Rosie Perez, Jurnee Smollet-Bell and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. To the over the top action scenes and references made for the fans. It was a delightful movie. Was it perfect?…no but definitely fun none the less. Granted it felt and played out more as a Harley Quinn movie then a birds of prey. That is a question worth asking why title it that and make them in essence secondary characters but I digress. All in all, I still a Should watch.
