The Old Guard is not necessarily a new story but still, a well-told one. Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood starring Charlize Theron, is basically a story about a group of immortals that unites for a mission. But uh-oh its a trap (don’t worry this is not a spoiler. this is actually in the trailer). The medical world finds out about their existence and wants to harness it. Another immortal is then born for the first time in a millennium. As I said, this is not necessarily a new story but if you can look away from the tough parts. It is still pretty well told and action-packed while ending with a possibility for a franchise. All in all it was an okay watch. Is it a Should Watch? not necessarily but if you have two hours to kill one day why not.
