So for the first time in a long time I was actually deeply disappointed in a show. That is saying a lot because I am a deep fan of the supernatural drama and I love the base story for this. Dracula is a character that has been heavenly explored in many forms by a lot of different people, not all of them great but the biggest let down of this one was the fact I felt that it had genuine potential. For it to have such a strong start and flop the landing was hard to watch. I was left with wondering what was the whole point of me watching this. There was so much that could have been done here and so many avenues for the story to go. It is hard for me to blame the cast because they were fantastic. It’s story and direction are flawed and that was a shock seeing that this was from the same people that brought you Sherlock Holmes. I genuinely feel that the ending was not planned out. I am sorry to to say this was such a disappointment especially since I had great hope.
